Ok, just solved all of my problems... no thanks to the fucking developers. Software is great... customer support sucks. 1. It was suggested you try VLC, you didn't. Why would anyone else make a suggestion when you ignore the one that you got "I can play anything". Clearly you couldn't. 2....

Ok, just solved all of my problems... no thanks to the fucking developers. In MPC settings Playback>>>Output Under 'DirectShow Video' .... EVR Custom Pres. was selected. ok. Was just looking a Family Guy rip. Watching 2 screens side by side. One playing the original video_ts folder ripped by AnyDVD The other playing the individual mkvs ripped by MakeMKV. There is definitely a noticeable stutter and or jaggy edges when there is action... what could cause this. I have...

Does your computer have the proper CODECs installed for the video and audio within the MKV files? Can you play the MKV files with VLC , which includes its own CODECs? I had little luck with Media Player and MKV files for a long time. VLC worked just fine, but MP just complained that the CODEC wasn'...

I am also starting to notice some of the videos can have 'jerky... or stuttering' video. Not horribly bad but noticeable and therefore unacceptable. I just ripped another concert and played the original dvd and the ripped mkv file simultaneously on 2 side by side monitors an it is definitely there. ...
