well it looks like its on 1.00 of something but of what as the buffalo case hides that does the tray still eject?


The drive works fine except for some discs. This is why I wanted to change FW to 1.03MK but can't for the life of me.


The firmware most likely wouldn't make a difference ...

I did follow the guide and used SDFtool but it has no effect at all even though it shows FW has been updated.

I have downgraded my BUFFALO BRUHD-PU3-BK once and it has been working fine but recently, it is giving me all sorts of issues reading UHD discs.

I thought to flash it to 1.03 MK firmware but Asus modified tool gives me Updating Failure #5 error and SDFtool seems to flash fine BUT no real effect ...
