Re: Family Guy Trilogy BD results in a fatal error
Yesterday I tried MKV for Windows and guess what? It just works. Same machine, same drive, same BluRay, different OS. Seems to be a OSX specific problem.

Re: Family Guy Trilogy BD results in a fatal error
I'll do that in the evening. I have found another BD that doesn't work. Batman the Movie (the 70s Batman Adam West).

Re: Family Guy Trilogy BD results in a fatal error
No, they don't. At least not the version sold in Germany. And neither the discs nor the drive is broken. It's most likely a problem with BD+ because from time to time BD+ movies occur that are problematic (e.g. Slumdog Millionaire, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Marley & Me, X-men Trilogy) and a...

Re: Family Guy Trilogy BD results in a fatal error
My BD drive is ok (other titles like Summer Wars work fine).
The BDs play fine with my PS3 so they are ok as well.
And since the 2nd disc (Something, something, something dark side) has AACS v15 and also doesn't work in MKV I think it might be some "trick" that FOX uses on newer releases.

Family Guy Trilogy BD results in a fatal error
No logfile, I can't even create an encrypted backup.
Maybe because it uses AACSv19,BD+
