FIgured it out, the power supply that comes with the Vantec CB-ST00U3 isn't enough for the drive.

New LG WH16NS40 flashed to WH16NS60 1.02
I just bought a new WH16NS40 and flashed it to WH16NS60 1.02 but I am having trouble even ripping regular blu-rays. MakeMKV will start and recognize the drive, but about 1/4 of the way through progress just stops and the remaining time keeps climbing higher. I'm not sure if I have a defective drive ...
