I have been using a ASUS 16D1HT and a LG WH16NS40 with the Amazon version with zero success on The Abyss. However, I was able to rip both True Lies and Aliens on the first try with the Asus. I have a new WalMart disc arriving today, along with a BDR-13U-X from Billy. I'll try my Amazon copy first, ...

Hi @Mozey, sure - I have the BDR-S13EBK with BDR-S13JX firmware 1-03 (purchased in a Vantek enclosure recently from @asmcom on this forum)

Purchased mine from Wow HD... No visible sign of damage to 4k disc. Theatrical Version failed to rip on LG BU40N, but both versions ripped successfully on Pioneer BDR-S13.
