NLMeans too slow in Handbrake?? Try this!
So, there are obviously titles that just have A LOT OF DETAIL that will make giant MKVs. When converting (compressing) in Handbrake, NLMeans is the gold-standard to knock 1/2 off the file-size (light-preset 'film' setting), but it is PAINFULLY slow (like 7fps on a powerful machine). So a converstion...

Two Suggestions...
So with all the complications with Blu-Ray (like title numbers being different depending on what app you open a disk on), and the number of disks with deliberate obfuscation, I would like to make two suggestions... Re: If you're experiencing rip errors, please read here first!
MakeMKV, unlike most everything else, uses the built-in hash data on a blu-ray to verify that what it has read off the disc is correct. It only produces output when it has verified that all the data it has read is correct. A stand alone blu-ray player generally doesn't check. It blows past errors, ...

"The Menu" Deliberate Bad Blocks... [SOLVED]
I've tried two different copies of "The Menu" (2022. My copy and a friend's and both fail to rip because of block-read errors. I've tried also, integrating both with Handbrake, since it can skip over bad blocks, but it fails to get all the options for audio (settles on the Stereo for heari...
