Shouldn't Forced Subtitles Automatically Get the 'f' MKV Flag?
When extracting "Forced Only" subtitle tracks, MKV successfully identifies the right subset of subtitles to include, but I find myself having to manually add the "f" flag to the MKV metadata, either in MakeMKV itself or later with MkvToolNix, otherwise the forced subtitles don't ...

Re: Billycar11 Selling Flashed Pioneer UHD Drives, Remote Flashing,Tested& Makemkv Discount
This is a bit overdue but I got a Pioneer BD-213 from Billy about 3 weeks ago and it's been workling flawlessly ever since. Worked with MakeMKV right out of the box with LibreDrive, was properly flashed to support UHD, etc. I haven't had a read failure with a single disc (except one which had a visi...

Is this company legit? I email them and all I get back appear to be automated replies and they never tell me how to actually buy a drive.

Re: Star Wars 4Ks
I'm in the same boat as many with the Skywalker Saga 4K discs. Not a single one will rip. They all just spin and make that horrible grinding sound when MakeMKV tries to load one. I saw someone earlier say this is most likely due to the packaging and how the discs are stuffed into those cardboard sle...

Re: Error Handling ideas for damaged media
Well, based on some of the symbols in the .DLLs, such as this one in libffm.dll: s->avctx->codec_id != AV_CODEC_ID_H264 or this error message: decoding to AV_PIX_FMT_NONE is not supported it most clearly is utilizing libav. LibAV is the library underlying ffmpeg. It has 100s of different use cases, ...

Re: Error Handling ideas for damaged media
I also want to vote strongly for this. Seems like a no-brainer. On the assumption that MakeMKV uses LibAV (aka ffmpeg) under the hood (and what else could it possibly use, honestly?) - which is a library with which I have extensive experience - this is totally possible. Maybe a tiny bit tricky to av...
