I just ripped Naruto set 8, and it doesn't have the same behavior, the subtitles appear as soon as I seek. No idea why that would be.

Heyo! I just ripped the Blu-Rays for Naruto Set 2 (Naruto episodes 28-55 spread across 4 discs). I use MPC-HC as my main video player.
