Re: AACS V33 MKB Support?
hi, thanks for the support and for the great application, it has faithfully helped me with a number of Blu-rays. Anyway, it might be a bit off-track, being as the thread was about AACS v31, but will Make MKV support AACS V33 MKB soon? am having a total block trying to access this new protection. Th...

Re: MakeMKV is not converting properly to MKV some SD conten
I've seen this problem before, but only on DVD's. I'm sure Mike will take a look when he strolls by. It might be am improperly mastered disc, and it might be a bug.

Look inside the .iso file and see if there is an "ANY!" folder somewhere. Delete it.

Re: H.264 MPEG-4/AVC and WMV
Isn't there a lot more to quality than the type of codec? For example, how well it is transferred from film to digital, bit rate, etc. So, if done well, even an MPEG2 transfer could have higher picture quality than a not-so well done H.264. If disc space is not a major concern (such as with a short...

Re: Breaking Bad Season 2, disc 2 wont rip
The disc just won't read. The disc plays fine, just can't rip it via MKV. All the other blu ray disc ripped fine. Will post the error codes up in a 20 mins. Thanks, I have backed up this disc myself so I know it works. Try cleaning it, or try making a complete backup and then making mkv's from the ...

Re: Subtitle question
I never have any need for subtitles, so when ripping my movies I uncheck all subtitles and then check HD-Master audio. Two questions: 1) Will removing the English subtitles make it so that scenes in movies where text is imposed on the screen that is NOT a visible subtitle for dialogue (for example,...

Re: MakeMKV seems to stop in the middle of a backup
I have backed up many of my BD disks successfully in the past...worked every time. I am now on v1.7.4. Backup starts and then it seems to stop, as if waiting for something. It's been sitting for the past 30-mins with no further activity. Also happened to my other BDs recently. Attached is a JPG scr...

Re: Warning that AnyDVD is enabled, but I don't have AnyDVD.
The folder on your hard drive that has the blu-ray files has probably already been processed/decrypted by AnyDVD. Did you make the backup yourself or did you get it from somewhere else? Thanks for your reply. I got it from somewhere else and I see now that there is a subfolder "Any" in it...

Re: Hardcoded subs missing
Ah i see, a little bit confusing... How do you know which subtitle track that is? thanks for your help Unfortunately its trial and error. For my use, I only select the english forced subtitles when I create the mkv file, and 99/100 times the track is empty and simply left out. For the few times it ...

Re: Warning that AnyDVD is enabled, but I don't have AnyDVD.
When I start MakeMKV to make a mkv from a Blu-Ray (in folder on my hdd), I get a warning that AnyDVD seems to be enabled and that errors may occur. However I don't have AnyDVD installed at all. Although I get a playable mkv (without errors) I wonder what is wrong and why I get that warning. Thanks ...
