Re: I was ripping, and now MakeMKV can't find any usable optical drives
I have this exact same drive and it does the same thing. As others have mentioned powering it off and leaving it off for a minute or two then switch back on has always fixed it for me. My Pioneer drive never does this. I did that, and it worked. I was able to rip this last disc that I was having tr...

Multiple makemkvcon instances
Are there any caveats to shelling off multiple instances of makemkvcon when passing the "mkv" argument as long as each instance is access a different disc and the output files are different?

Re: Processing makemkvcon stdout
That does help. Especially about the second progress bar. It makes sense now.
Do you happen to know if there are any makemkvcon command line switches to select audio tracks and subtitles. Or is using a profile the only way?
Thanks.

Processing makemkvcon stdout
I'm writing a Windows dialog app for my Nimbi changer that shells makemkvcon64.exe and will process the stack of discs loaded in the changer. I'm getting closer to it working. I'm hoping someone can help me with a few questions. I found the apdef.h header file and converted it to C#. I figured out a...

Re: ripped episodes in wrong order/question
My understanding is that a lot of discs with episodes put them on disc in production order and ordered by aired date. So yeah, must verify each one. A real bummer.

Re: The Force Awakens - SCSI/Medium/Uncorrectable Errors
I have this exact same error with the same disk. It's even the same offset. It's the only disc in the collection that did this. I've tried multiple times after cleaning it and it always fails at the same place. I guess the only fix that's been discovered is to use a different drive?
