found this odd, maybe it is beccause the bluray is sort of interactive (it always says it should be played back in bluray player with profile 2.0).

have to be honest am not that impressed with the dvd of the film ~
but it would be one film only, or maybe a second one should decide to buy an ntsc copy of the original matrix dvd ]
for the price of such a dvd could nearly buy a UHD ì blury copy of the same film ...

with the older bluray player can playback the dvd in 24p, but the option need to be directly enabled during playback ("24p playback ON")

guess then also commercial solution like zappiteio etc. will not do the feature here at hand,

years ago bought this DVD Series and now backing it up with Makemkv.


Just found out that the DVD are flippable;
two DVD could backup also the flipside;

the 3rd DVD has also flipside , but there is DATA on it;

on the DVD itself is written

NO PROGRAMMING FLIP SIDE


there are 4 files a ...

it seems the error is not related to "suspend"

because it came back when i tried to open similar UHD disc

MakeMKV v1.18.1 linux(x64-release) started

thanks, maybe the computer got into sleep mode, since i use "caffeine" app to avoid it from going to sleep when using makemkv for ripping dvd/bluray, but wasn't active.

it seems it made the backup nontheless; it is not an .iso file, but plays back well also from structure, very pleased!

i am new to UHD discs;

whenever attempting to backup/convert to Mkv via Makemkv , there seems to be surprise included,



now there are 2 discs and makemkv lists for both 4 title with the nearly same content (title, decription, Filesize , languages, subtitles, etc.)
only difference seems ...

it is 6 bluray version , part 1 and 2 , plus 3d.
