Re: BD3D2MK3D
I just had seen this thread after posting in another. Question, so this can't do 1080P and only outputs a maximum of 720P correct?

Re: Can MakeMKV properly rip 3D Blu-rays?
Learning as I go here. So, I have an Epson Projector, Onkyo AVR, Apple TV and Plex. Trying to get my 3D MKV files to play in 3D but my projector doesn't recognize. I did follow the pinned 3D post to make sure I was getting the MVC track. From what I gather, I need to either use a tool to convert the...

Re: Title Audio Selection - Noob Question
If you want to set a particular subtitle track to have both the 'default' flag and the 'forced' flag set to true, in MakeMKV, highlight the subtitle track in question on the left and on the right, select MKV Flags in the dropdown box, then add the letters df. When you tab out of that field, you sho...

Re: Title Audio Selection - Noob Question
Subtitle tracks in movies vary. Some have no subtitle tracks, yet they have text on the screen (usually in fancy fonts). Some have tracks for each translated language. So right after I has posted, I started to learn that subtitles are not so straight forward. However, through a database I did find ...

Re: Title Audio Selection - Noob Question
If you uncheck a title, the state of any of the checkboxes under that title do not matter; no .mkv file for that title will be produced. Thank you. Can I ask another question? If I for example want to make sure I can see the subtitles for Alien language in a movie for example, is there a a specific...

Title Audio Selection - Noob Question
Hi all. I am new to this and learning. Trying to absorb as much of the threads as possible. On a big of information overload. I have a newbie question. When The disc is loaded I see that often you will get identical titles highlighted with identical audio tracks. So, even if I "unselect" a...

Re: BU40N Slim Drive won´t flash
I have the USB version of this and it flashed with no issues. The only problem is this is spotty on ripping 4K discs for me so far. Blu Ray and DVD the rip rate is 99% so far (all have ripped but Back to the Future Ultimate Edition set). Have not done a ton yet but 4K discs but only 3 of 7 have ripp...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2023
Sorry if a dumb question. I am looking at the recommended drives list but then there is a comment about not buying any Pioneer drives for 4K (UHD). Is that still the case? Also, should I not bother trying to find a drive that does 3D? I was hoping to rip those as well. Sounds like trying to find som...

Out of the Box Optical Drive?
Hi all. I just bought a Q-NAP TS-464 and looking to get an external drive. I have tried reading through some of these forums but man there is so many options. I plan on ripping 4K,3D and older DVD's (lossless in some cases). Looking for a recommended drive that is not too expensive but reliable (and...
