Re: Where Are the Ripping Settings?

So, I rip with MakeMKV to get a MKV file, then I use Handrake on the ripped file? I tried it and the video jumped from 1.78 Gb to 8.8 Gb - the exact opposite of what I wanted!!!

Where Are the Ripping Settings?

I've been using MakeMKV for a while, using the basic settings under the Expert mode. However, I have not been able to find anywhere I can change the output video to high definition, etc. The closest I can get editing the Audio and Subtitles in the last screen before ripping. (I tried to add a small ...

Robin Hood - Men in Tights

Help!

I have the Mel Brooks 9-DVD movie collection and I have been able to rip all the movies except for Robin Hood - Men in Tights. MakeMKV acts like it is ripping, but after 5 minutes, it quits and I have nothing.

I've attached the log file (which shows lots of errors).

Can someone please help ...

Re: Out of Sync Audio/Video on Outbreak DVD

I am saving the ripped file to an 8-terrabyte WD Easystore external hard drive, which I then play through an AGPtek Mini 1080 HD Media Player to the HDMI port on the television because the dip-stick Vizio television manufacturer only supports FAT/FAT32 USB drives, not NTFS, even though NO ONE uses ...

Blu-ray Hostiles ripping in wrong order

I have attempted to rip Hostiles several times with a variety of settings and keep getting odd errors - not in the ripping process, but in the resulting MKV file: The order of the frames are occasionally mixed up.

For example: In the meeting with the Colonel and the Harper's Weekly douche bag ...

Blu-ray frozen video/active audio

I have started ripping my Blu-ray collection, having finished all my DVDs with great success.

However, the Blu-rays are giving me fits! About 3/4 of the time, the ripped movie cannot be viewed on my television: the video is frozen, but the audio track continues perfectly. Now I can fast-forward ...

Source Information question???

I am new to MakeMKV and I'm trying to understand the interface.
  • I only speak/read English (yeah, lazy American)
I want the highest quality video and audio
What settings do you folks recommend?
