No, as I said, the generated L2 trim is meant to mimic the improved tone mapping of CMv4.0 on CMv2.9 devices. CMv4.0 L1 + L3 is roughly equivalent to CMv2.9 L1 + L2. Ah sorry RESET. Quick question regarding NVidia Shield Pro w.r.t v2.9 and v4.0

Resolve generates automatic L2 100,600,1000 v2.9 compatible trims
but the L8 100 trim equivalent in v4.0 is "empty" (set to 2048).

Will my Shield Pro take the L2 trims? or does it use the "empty" L8 trim.

In the script 3-1 it works properly, I just tested it. If you do the xml in resolve , you have to edit L5 when you inject in 1-1 because otherwise, the dovi_tool cannot know which side is 281 or 280 but the analysis itself in resolve is correct. I have a film where the top black bar is 281 and the bottom is 280.

How do I crop this correctly for dolby vision analysis?
If I under crop I will get wrong min values in my analysis and if I over crop I will not anaylze the whole active area?
