Reboot didnt really make a difference
Same issue im having with Goonies 4k that i recently posted about as well. Just seems a little coincidental to happen same month on two new disk titles. Anybody have other suggestions other than to buy a different drive?

Its an LG drive in a Mercury Pro external enclosure. Ill try to reboot power and see if it makes a difference. It seems to have happend to both Black Hawk Down 4k and The Goonies 4k in a row.

Just tried to rip a new Black Hawk Down 4K UHD with both theatrical and extended versions. Both failed. Im using a LG Electronics WH16NS40 that hass worked on all my other disks. I tried MakeMKV_V1.17.5 and 17.7 and both have the same error when ripping .MKV of The Goonies in 4K UHD. I think it errors out and the drive starts spinning down around 25-30min in.

@Radiocomms237 @Decoke22. Thanks for the additional context. This does seem like a journey of sorts to get a rip that is ready to play on my server with the correct forced tracks. I will add doing a disk Backup as my first run now, then i can just put the disk away. Then take another pass at any add...

PS. Is there a live Google Doc that someone has posted that lists each movie and what Subtitle tracks have the correct Forced Subtitles to choose?
