Re: Dump Submitted - Wicked for Good (18C4)
I’ve sent the form to the email address. :) Here’s the google drive link: Thanks. For future reference, there are two databases: MakeMKV's private "hashed keys" database, and the public KEYDB.cfg file. Emailing your TGZ dump file to svq@makemkv.com allows The Powers That MakeMKV to add yo...

That should be svq@makemkv.com. Please feel free to upload it into OneDrive or Google Drive as well, for The Powers That KEYDBHausXFreeman wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 12:07 amUpdate: Email sent to support@makemkv.com for MKB20_v82_Wicked-_For_Good_DE78.![]()

Re: Extract/backup specific M2TS file
I've made a full file extract of a bluray ('K-Pax') but the m2ts files are not playable in VLC or readable without a fail in Handbrake... VLC should be able to play an encrypted disk back-up, assuming that your libaacs implementation has the correct key to decrypt it "on the fly". So it w...

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
I can’t post it because I have a Pioneer drive and I know those data dumps don’t work, but has anyone had issues ripping the UHD copy of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest? Actually KEYDB now supports Pioneer dumps, so please feel free to upload yours into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive, and then repl...

Re: Dune Part 2 Dump Submitted
Submittet "MKB20_v77_Dune-_Part_Two_17A1.tgz" a week ago. Still not able to decrypt it. Perhaps upload your TGZ dump file into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive, and then reply here with a public download link? Because this would allow people also to try adding your disk to the public KEYDB....

Re: Trouble Opening Discs
Do I just copy and paste the file into the Makemkv folder through program files? Probably more like "drag and drop" the KEYDB.cfg file into your MakeMKV folder. If MakeMKV has created any TGZ files for any of these disks then maybe upload these files into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive, a...

Re: Trouble Opening Discs
I apologize for my ignorance, I'm not super tech savy. Are there instructions to try this? You mean this? Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV? The latest KEYDB.cfg f...

Actually, I think KEYDB has contained this disk for years?! It is also one of those rare disks that uses BD+.dheatley96 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2026 9:01 pmStar Wars - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Re: Query - waiting on a key...
I'm waiting for a solution to the Pink Floyd at Pompeii 4K disk. Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV? Your only other alternative is to keep trying MakeMKV periodica...
