Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
MKB_RO.inf link (Do not just extract the MKB_RO.inf file from the disc dump file - copy it from the disc): First time - hope I've done it right! Almost, except that you have provided the disk's Unit_Key_RO.inf file instead of its MKB_RO.inf file. Can you (compress and) upload the MKB_RO.inf file fr...

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
I guess restarting the PC and using the back panel made it work. Sorry for taking up your time. I'm using a Verbatim utra slim 4K 43888 if thats useful. No worries, but now that you've managed to re-enable LibreDrive, can you provide a discatt.dat file for this disk please? It would still be useful...

Re: Dump MKB20_v77_World_War_Z_C471
Could you also upload this TGZ dump file into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive please, and then provide a public download link? This would allow people to try adding your disk to the public KEYDB.cfg file too.

It's not down. More likely, your browser is trying to use HTTPS, whereas the site only supports HTTP.MrMegadeth99 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 26, 2026 4:46 pmHello, where can I get download the latest keydb.cfg file? I was getting it from FindVUK but that site seems to be down.

Re: Ripping Vs downloading
Are there any legal download sites? The existence of AACS and bus encryption would seem to suggest "not"
I buy disks legally. Ripping them is merely how I choose to play them in the privacy of my own home.

Re: 4K-UHD Blu-Ray Error: The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
I emailed the zipped TGZ file, and I assume that I need to do the same for the other TGZ files for my other two discs? Yes please :). About the public KEYDB, I just wanted to confirm that it doesn't matter in which language I download the KEYDB.cfg file, even if my disc has Japanese audio (or does ...

Re: 4K-UHD Blu-Ray Error: The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this? I haven't tried the other two discs since I figure I will run into the same error. I searched some of the recent posts and saw some users creating "dumps" but am not really sure if these methods apply to my situation or not. Thanks for you...

Re: Dump submitted - 2001: A Space Odyssey
I use a Verbatim 43888 (Drive platform: RS8A10, Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-US04) so therefore can't submit the dump for the public KeyDB. Actually, KEYDB now supports Pioneer dumps. So feel free to upload it into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive please, and then reply with a public download link :). ...

Re: Dump submitted - Born on the fourth of July (Oliver Stone)
For any future disc submissions, please post directly in the keydb submission thread ( Link ) rather than creating a new thread for each title. To be fair, a new thread per dump is correct behaviour for dumps emailed to svq@makemkv.com . The Public KEYDB Submissions thread is just the best place to...

Re: Dump submitted: A Bay of Blood (1972) 4 disc Severin 2026
Okay. It's shared now. Sorry about that oversight. 8) Thanks. Could you also provide the AACS/MKB_RO.inf files from the physical UHD Disk1 and Disk2 please? The copies of these files inside their respective TGZ dump files have been truncated to only 56 bytes, which makes them unusable to anything o...
