Re: What do I do with an AACS dump?

Since I am using Pioneer drive I cannot contribute to public keydb I guess. Although I have a brand new ASUS BW-16D1HT I bought a few weeks back, so in theory I might change its firmware... I would still recommend contributing your TGZ dump files for ordinary BluRay disks to the public KEYDB, with ...

Re: LibreDrive outside MakeMKV

I’ve already successfully ripped the disc using MakeMKV. I’ve never flashed my drive, so the firmware is stock. Now, MakeMKV reports that the highest AACS version supported by the drive is 81. The disc title doesn’t seem to be present in the publicly available KEYDB file. Have you tried adding that...

So a 2-year-old firmware still hasn't gotten supported, that's sad to hear. I'm still holding out hope, though the hope is slim.
FWIW there is considerably more hope today than there was 2 years ago... ;)

You have to wait until Mike comes up with a solution for which there is currently no timeline.
However, Mike has at least stated that a solution exists for all such Pioneer drives :). It's just that no-one has any hint of its ETA.

Re: AACS v82 dump

I just emailed them the file. Didn't notice the file didn't actually get uploaded here. I guess I just have to wait until it's patched. Alternatively, you could upload your TGZ dump file into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive, and then reply with a public download link. This would allow people to try ...

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions

High Tension 4k UHD Plaion Mediabook G2 (24. Aug. 2023) Make Error MKB20_v76_High_Tension_0EB7.tgz Could you also provide the (zipped) AACS/MKB_RO.inf file from your physical UHD disk please? The copy of this file inside your TGZ dump file has been truncated to only 56 bytes, which makes it useless...

The new Hanna-Barbera Touché Turtle and Dum Dum discs are encoded with AACS v82 and MakeMKV says: "The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted."
Can you adjust the "Share" option on both those files please, so that people can access them?

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions

Sorry. Sharing access updated! Thanks, I think your disk is already in the KEYDB.cfg file, so all you should need do is download it, copy it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MAkeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and then restart MakeMKV. Alternatively, if you're running Windows then you ...

I understand that we need to send the tgz file by email, which I did, and leave a message here. After that, I’m not sure what to do!
Could you change the "Share" option for that file please, so that people can access it?

Could you also upload this file into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive please, and then reply with a public download link? This would allow people to try adding your disk to the public KEYDB.cfg file too.

Re: Dumps Submitted (A Nightmare on Elm Street 7 Discs UHD)

Nightmare 1-5 work when first decoding with "Xreveal" While its's great that you've managed to decrypt these using Xreveal, Xreveal only works on Windows :(. However, if you could also provide these TGZ dump files (as you already have for disks 6 and 7) then we could also add full support...

Yes, I think it's set up so that anyone can download it, but is it still not possible to download it?
