Re: One Battle After Another UHD Dump File

My dump file does have a different code and I emailed it to svq. How does the 4-character code relate to the entry in KeyDB? I don't know how to tell from the KeyDB entry whether it's the same disc as mine. A different code means a different disk variant, i.e. the SHA1 hash of your disk's AACS/Unit...

Re: One Battle After Another UHD Dump File

I downloaded the latest KEYDB and put it in the MakeMKV directory and I can see an entry for this movie, but I still get that the volume key is unknown. Does this just mean I have a different pressing of the disc or could it be something else? It depends - Did MakeMKV manage to enable LibreDrive fo...

Re: One Battle After Another UHD Dump File

I pre-ordered and it arrived early. Your dump is not usable because your drive has not yet enabled LibreDrive (LD). However, the latest KEYDB.cfg file already contains an entry for this disk, and so if MakeMKV still cannot decrypt it after you enable LD, you should just download the latest KEYDB.cf...

Anyone have any luck on this?
Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKVV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV?

The following new UHD titles have been added to the public keydb: Leon
Unfortunately, the title cannot be deciphered. The key on my disc is different.
KEYDB already contains this disk, and it matches your dump. Is the KEYDB.cfg file inside MakeMKV's data directory out-of-date?

Thanks, and don't forget to email your TGZ dump file to svq@makemkv.com too :).

It's working now.
That's odd, because the KEYDB doesn't have a complete entry for this disk?!

Re: Dump File Submitted - The Phoenician Scheme 7E6D

Here's the link. Thanks, and can you also provide the AACS/MKB_RO.inf file from your physical UHD disk please? The copy of this file inside the TGZ dump has been truncated to only 56 bytes, which makes it unusable to anyone except MakeMKV itself. The MKB_RO.inf file is big , so it's a good idea to ...

Re: New to MakeMKV - UHD Rips Not Working

It seems like ripping regular blu-rays works, but ripping UHD blu-rays runs into what seems to be the same issue each time. I believe my drive should work as it is displayed in the UI for this, but it just... isn't. From what I understand, sometimes disks simply need a key generated or whatever by ...

It says ‘enabled’ for the LibreDrive status.
And yet the discatt.dat file inside your TGZ dump still doesn't contain your disk's metadata?

This disc with JAWS has been giving me problems; I’ve had to reflash my player twice after trying to rip it  .
Your UHD drive still hasn't enabled LibreDrive. What does MakeMKV's "Info" window say?

Re: MKb2_v77_The Firm (Remastered)_39F

Update. I flashed the drive and it seems to be working now! Thanks! I'm not sure why KeyDB Helper said it wasn't in the database. By the sound of it, your disk is in MakeMKV's own "hashed keys" database. However, it currently only has a partial entry in the public KEYDB.cfg file. It shoul...
