The segment map 549 as mentioned above has German burned in subtitles (when they speak Russian), segment map 316 has the same but in English.
This is from the gentlemen's edition, which comes combined with this first one and also John Wick 2 on another disc.
I absentmindedly just let it rip all ...

Re: Correct playlists for Iron Giant Blu-ray
Assuming 99 is the signature and 100 is the original from this thread, then going by track length and audio streams:
99 signature + 102 japanese signature + 500 commentary, all three with a length of 1:29:58
100 original + 101 japanese signature + 501 commentary, all three with a length of 1:26:39 ...

Re: Default output file name template
Why does the {_t:N2} depend on the minimum title length (seconds) setting?
If I change that setting and allow shorter tracks, the indexing is different, and thus produces other file names, meaning if I am not careful this will produce duplicate files.

Re: Flatpak release?
Sadly https://flathub.org/apps/com.makemkv.MakeMKV does not include the makemkvcon command.
This makes it unusable on a server, since it does not have a monitor connected, so no GUI can be started.
I wanted to automate extracting tracks from dvd iso files, so now I have to get the source code from ...

Re: Star Wars: Rogue One correct playlist
800 is English, 801 and 802 are Spanish and French. This is how most (all?) Disney blurays are.
For me in Germany the BD has the original English and then 801 German and 802 Polish, nevertheless 800 is the original English, correct. The first obvious difference is the blue text "A long time ago ...

I find the chapters a bit weirdly placed for the GIP non-commentary version, and chapter 42 seems to be rather large in the middle:

Re: unable to decrypt iso files
To bypass this problem, place your BD into the drive, start MakeMKV and open the BluRay (so you see the titles and such). At this moment, LibreDrive is uploaded into the RAM of the drive (I think until you open the drive again). So you also can close MakeMKV again.

Re: unable to decrypt iso files

unable to decrypt iso files
Hi, first post in this forum.
I have a few BD for which makemkv reports errors while copying. Trying to circumvent the drive I create a copy with dvdisaster.
Usually dvdisaster then perfectly copies the disc first try, or has several read errors. When errors occur i try again or put the disc in ...
