When I watch the resulting mkv with mpv, I face some issues. Sometimes, I can't switch to the subtitle track at all. Or maybe I can, but the subtitles are timed improperly. The start time for the line is fine, but it always ends early.
VLC handles the subtitles properly, which is surprising to me ...
