I just got this drive from Amazon. new to all this flashing so bare with me please, have questions. So what is 1.17.7 all about and do I need to downgrade to 1.17.7 and where do I even find this? Just run into this issue I had to re install my machine and so now with a fresh makemkv and I get the "Automatic SDF downloading is disabled or failed"
People talk about downloading it separately then install manually, how do you even find this file.

Right now I have old LG drive BH12LS38 I figure it's much too old to be useful; it has ripped DVD and Blu-ray OK, but I want to cover 4K discs as I want to collect them soon.
