Re: Notting Hill UHD Submitted
Emailing your TGZ dump file to svq@makemkv.com is the right thing to do. However, if you can also make your TGZ dump file available here via a file host such as OneDrive or Google Drive then people can also try adding your disk to the public KEYDB.cfg file as well. And KEYDB is often updated faster ...

Re: Notting Hill UHD Submitted
Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV?
If this doesn't work, perhaps also upload your TGZ dump file into a file host such as OneDrive or Google Drive please, and then ...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2025
Hey guys,
Forgive me if this question has been answered elsewhere, but I can't seem to find any documentation on it. Relative n00b here... I'm trying to flash a (supposedly) new ASUS BW-16D1HT, but the tool tells me the drive is not on the MT-1959 platform. This is a new one to me. I actually ...

Re: Free space issue
I have an external drive that I do all my MakeMKV work on. The output will eventually end up on a storage server on my network, so it is local only temporarily. Doing it on an external drive seems to minimize the effects of macOS trying to help in the background. It also lets the SSD wear caused ...

Re: Free space issue
I just ran into the same issue, for the first time after some 70 rips. Disc loads, I make my rip selection, but run into the following when I hit "Make MKV": "The total size of all output files may reach as much as 73863 megabytes while there are only 68597 megabytes free on the destination drive ...

Dumb question perhaps, but where do I find said file?SamuriHL wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 2:30 am You should always submit your dump file in case it's different from those who've submitted theirs.

Re: Nightmare Before Christmas UHD Dump
New to MakeMKV and this forum (though I've been reading a ton before jumping in -- thanks for all the valuable info!). I was unable to rip this disc today. First time I'm running into this, other than a scratched disc or two. I guess it's just a matter of patience at this point?
