Thanks. I think the problem is with the disc as you pointed out.I just tried another UHD disc and it works just fine.

Hi there, I just purchased the Pioneer BDR-XD08SUMB-S from Amazon. Based on my understanding, this drive should work out of the box with makemkv 1.17.4 without needing to flush the firmware.
