Drive does not appear to see any other disks but it is brand new. Before flashing it said it was mt1959 and after flashing as well

was the drive tested before flashing?

No it was not, could be defective I suppose

Hello so I am having an issue, I have chosen to flash to HL-DT-ST-BD-RE WH16NS60 revision 1.03 but it says that no disc is inserted when there is, is there a reason that it thinks there is no disc? Thank you for the response.
