Don't you have the "register" button on a dialog that pops up about version being too old? You can also enter the key in 1.6.5 and then run any previous version. You may as well have multiple versions installed side by side. i do have the 'register' dialog box but when i click on 'registe...

When I had the speed problem with V1.6.4 last month I reverted to 1.6.3 and everything was OK. Today I am prompted with version too old - upgrade or register.
