I got around the problem by ripping with handbrake.

Hi there, just wondering if anyone has come across this weird output issue. When ripping a BD of Sheryl Crow - Soundstage the output from MakeMkv shows in mediainfo as variable frame rate and handbrake refuses to encode it.
