Thanks for the fix! I got the error with 1.6.5. win7 64 bit. killed a previous makemkv process that was still running. Uninstalled makemkv. cleaned registry. installed, and working again. I'm new to this (and W7 for that matter) and try to figure out why the program insists on installing in the x86...
