Re: Now You See Me jumps all over the place
You can usually find the length of the film online. It is listed as 1:55:21. There is only one choice that is that time. It is 0651.mpls. I ripped it and viewed it and it is fine. 0919.mpls is close at 1:55:22.

DEBUG
I am getting a DEBUG when ripping some BRs. This is with Hype Park on Hudson:
DEBUG: Code 0 at &L'@V;n!]QXQ5uVLAJk_J$ja@:213129915
I also got a similar code with Silver Linings Playbook. Movie ripped ok.
Why the debug code?

Re: No Country For Old Men
This has LPCM lossless audio, which makes the disc impossible to copy. Uncheck that option and it works.

Re: Wings of Desire - no audio track selected by default
True. First time I ripped it, it played with the commentary rather than the German audio. I ripped it again, selecting German audio and everything is fine. The commentary is rather interesting as well.

Re: 2001 A Space Odyssey BR
Replying to my own post, mkvmerge handled the mkv file and extracted just the audio, making an mka file which was 110mb as opposed to over 3gb. The mka file plays fine in VLC.

2001 A Space Odyssey BR
When ripping to mkv, Title 02 gives an error, saying that the m2ts file has length zero, even though the size is over 3 gb. The problem is that the video is a single frame and the rest is audio. It is over one hour in length and is an interview with a photographer for the film. If you do a backup of...

Re: External blu ray player needs firmware updates for MakeM
My LG WH10LS30 is installed in my MacPro. I read about the firmware upgrades, which can't be done in OSX, so I loaded the software in Parallels. Turns out it didn't need an upgrade anyway. The upgrade would be installed on the connected drive. These drives are about $80 and would fit nicely in an ex...

I tried 00259 for title 13 and it looks one of the scenes about 3 times.
Also 00800 for title 37 does the same.

Running MakeMKV 1.6.12 with the BR disc Source Code gives me about 30 different titles each about 25gb, and each title has multiple subtitle files. How do I determine which ones to use?

Re: Unable to rip Blu-ray's with LG BH10LS30
I haven't had any problems ripping, except for a scratched disc. Writes pretty well on Ritek 25GB disks. My drive is installed in a MacPro 3.3GHz 6-core Westmere with 5TB drive space and 10GB ram. I was making some dvd copies of some stuff, so I recorded blank dvds on both the LG and the Apple drive...
