outside of running it on a slower drive (aka USB) is there any other way to make MakeMKV run at lets say 1x or 2x?

this has to be an issue with MakeMKV as HandBrake is working as well as LeLeawo software. I prefer to use MakeMKV due to simplicity.

Various discs are returning various errors, tried to rip to a slower drive (USB, SATA) as opposed to the NVMe drive and still return the errors:
