Excellent! Thank you for your help, with mkvtoolnix I've extracted the TrueHD Atmos .mka file. Now the trick is to convert that to an ADM .wav file. Do you have any experience with that?

Atmos .wav/ADM files?
Not sure if this is the right subforum or not, but here goes. I'm trying to extract the .wav from a UHD disc. I have a license for MakeMKV and I own a LibreDrive drive, and can extract the .mkv file which I know has the 7.1 audio data as well as atmos metadata embedded in it. I'm trying to basically...

Posting to say that I have the 4k UHD The Hobbit The Motion Picture Trilogy and have tried to open the second disc with MakeMKV and got the volume key error. I've sent the TGZ to the email address.

Hello - just tried ripping the All Quiet on the Western Front UHD with MakeMKV and got the Volume key is unknown for this disc error. I've sent the TGZ file so hopefully that resolves it. I got the error when attempting the solution above, because the normal rip method didn't work either.
