Re: Software Key
that's scary, what's the point of buying a key if he just stops supporting the program? should we be worried and start looking for another application to replace this?

Re: MakeMKV logo, using AI generation
Yeah AI blends things together, it's random, or maybe hardcoded. Actually I have no idea how it works. Some of the things it does is horrendous, sometimes it looks impossible a machine did it

Re: MakeMKV logo, using AI generation
Instead of using them as logos, they could be used as banners for the tops of the forums. that would work even better

MakeMKV logo, using AI generation
I dabble with AI art generation so here are some ideas of a makeMKV logo which I know there is already one, but what if we try to make another one? To help me tweak the image give me keywords or ideas to input into the prompt. Any makeMKV mods or admins feel free to use these logos however you want....

Re: new asus 16D1HT no MT1959?
I bought this drive twice from amazon, first once died very fast. second drive had a very recent manufacturer date, they must have changed something in the hardware, it still works, I've ripped many blu rays. the newest drive had the same firmware which I couldn't find a flasher for. this isn't an a...

Re: Thank You To The MakeMkv Staff
I don't think that's why the drives are burning up. many LG and asus drives burn up. my ASUS BW-16D1HT burned up quick, but the second one is a newer batch seems to be working fine still, much longer than the first one. I did buy the flasher from billy here on the forum though, worth every cent and ...

Re: Support for 16+ drives
I knew it, people made DIY disc changers! you could do this with blu ray too, all using just 1 drive, but the skills needed are beyond my own https://hackaday.com/2011/10/18/a-cd-changer-made-of-wood/ http://hackalizer.com/jack-the-ripper-is-an-automated-diy-disc-changer/ https://mniec.wordpress.com...

Re: Support for 16+ drives
I'm also curious about how you scripted it and set everything up, please teach us, we want to know. maybe even a youtube video? it seems like you could use Arduino or some kind of robot or even a automated disc exchanger to swap out each disc using just disc drive instead of having so many. that wou...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2023
I bought an asus bw-16d1ht , was able to successfully flash it to 3.10 MK, however it started producing read erros on blu-rays and a TON of errors reading DVD's, so I ordered a new drive on amazon like I did before however it is now made in January 2023 with firmware 3.11. I tried to flash it to 3....

is makeMKV no longer in beta? is it no longer free?
The beta key is about to expire in 1 more day, I looked at the news and announcements, all it says is thank you for testing the beta there is a new release. does that mean it's no longer in beta or that this new release is the new beta? the key is about to expire very soon so I would have thought so...

Re: Blu-Ray BDMV FOlder
"friends" that don't respect your stuff shouldn't be your friend. you're being way too nice. you're real solution is to never lend them anything especially money. I would get new friends, but if you don't have that will power I would never lend them any original discs. give them the burned...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
Thanks so much marty mcnuts for making this tool, it worked great. Just confirming I was using asus bw-16dht inside a vantec nexstar DX2 (this is the newer one with 3amp power supply, not the older DX 2A supply) plugged into my front header usb 3.2 gen 1 (5gbps) on my B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2 (rev. 1....
