Only time I've seen my XS-07UHD eject discs is when they're dirty (even dirty new out of the box). Always have been able to resolve it by cleaning the discs.

Would it be possible to put a warning into MakeMKV itself telling people not to upgrade firmware on Pioneer drives?

I rip directly to my tiny RAID 1 NAS for everything (over wifi 6!). Haven't had any issues. If it was working before with RAID 0, sounds like the NAS just can't keep up or there's a different network issue.

I just got a Pioneer BDR-XS07UHD from Platinum Micro on Amazon this week and it came with firmware 1.02 (libredrive compatible). Manufacture date is February 2023, so there's still some floating around with older firmware.

My Pioneer BDR-XS07 does not seem to like UHD disc(s). I have only tried one disc (Puss in Boots-The Last Wish) as all my others are in storage, a long way away. Blu-Ray works fine. Any advice would be appreciated: "That should work" or "<pats user bestat on the head> Silly user, you...
