Re: UHD disc keys recognized on one drive but not another
Maybe you need to give the discs a good clean before using that drive. It it was an LG drive I'd be more open to it, but the Pioneers tend to read with accuracy or refuse to read. Well, I'm basing that in part on how people tend to think that LGs make up things with they have problems reading part ...

Re: UHD disc keys recognized on one drive but not another
Is this drive LibreDrive enabled? If not, has the drive certificate been revoked at all? It works fine with other 4K discs. Drive Information Manufacturer: PIONEER Product: BD-RW BDR-XS07U Revision: 1.01 Firmware date: 2020-09-03 Bus encryption flags: 13 Highest AACS version: 81 LibreDrive Informat...

Re: UHD disc keys recognized on one drive but not another
Another title now: MKB20_v76_Ghost_in_the_Shell_7751.tgz
As an experiment I closed both MakeMKV and just launched one for the BDR-XS07U and still experienced the issue. So, it seems like it something specific with MakeMKV and the BDR-XS07U rather than about concurrent instances.

MakeMKV crash trying to save missing episode from Great British Railway Journeys
There's a DVD set of Series 1-4 of Great British Railway Journeys. On one of the discs there's an episode that doesn't get saved. In normal mode it reports the following: Title information 1: 1/1 - 1 chapter(s) 0:00:10 1 cell(s) 2: 2/1 - 1 chapter(s) 0:00:10 1 cell(s) 3: 3/1 - 1 chapter(s) 0:00:08 1...

Re: UHD disc keys recognized on one drive but not another
You shouldn't use MakeMKV that way. To use multiple instances, go into preferences and check the box for "Single Drive Mode". This way, when you want to use multiple instances of MakeMKV, each one will ask you to select the drive to use for that instance. This way, the drives and MakeMKV ...

Re: UHD disc keys recognized on one drive but not another
Did you use "findvuk synchronize" to ensure that both your KEYDB.cfg files are up-to-date? It's all the same file, so there is no "both". Basically launch MakeMKV twice on the same computer--one says the disc is unrecognized and spits out a tgz and the other processes the same d...

UHD disc keys recognized on one drive but not another
I saved many of my discs when my computer had 1-bit in a DIMM that was defective (0x2 could get stuck on in a particular byte in certain circumstances). So, after replacing the RAM I'm re-saving those discs using the same computer and OS (for the curious I am comparing the original & new files u...

Re: Chinatown Dump Submitted
Updating the keydb.cfg didn't help with this title (I emailed a dump to svq a few days ago). Initially running "FindVUK - Synchronize" didn't help with "Once Upon a Time in the West", but turns out that's because I had updated the batch file to also copy the result to MakeMKV's d...

Re: Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:READ OF SCRAMBLED SECTOR WITHOUT AUTHENTICATION' occurred
This seems to happen occasionally with DVDs (vs blu ray discs). I'm guessing it essentially has to do with some code paths in makemkv that try to read from the disc before the drive has been unlocked.

Language already exists - just specify the language in the preferences. Though be aware that if you've got something that doesn't have any english audio tracks then you can end up with an audio-less mkv file.

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
I have the impression that the BDR-XS07U (firmware 1.01) is more prone to getting stuck running a save in a slow[er] mode (compared to the BDR-XD08U and BDR-X13U that I also have experience with). E.g., if you take too long to pick out what to save from the disc and the drive spins down to a slower ...

Re: Makemkv rips fine, but ripped file has glitches?
This is a long shot, but it might be worth running a memory test (in my case I booted memtest86 off a usb thumb drive). In the last 12-15 months I've seen some inconsistencies in what makemkv produces. E.g., sometimes if I try to re-save a disc and compare it to one I made a few months ago the file ...

Re: Batman The Complete Animated Series - No dialogue on first episode
For what it's worth, the disc I have has: Label: Batman_Animated_Series_D1 Timestamp: 2018-09-11 17:46:41 I see a few more short titles than in the OP's image, but that may be because I have the minimum title length setting set to 50 seconds. Of the first two episode titles (the 3.1GB ones) the firs...
