Are you sure these are the same drives you sent out and not a top swap I suspected that too. The serials match, as far as I can tell. I also remember it has a code,maybe from the factory in the back.(where sata port is) DL23C The other 4 drives look to be working fine. I flashed them to 1.02 MK WH1...

for the one with BU40N fw you can try the recovery mode in sdfgui select a bu40n fw then an desktop one to flash Still new to this, so a bit lost. The non working one has been updated, doesn't show BU40N fw. Would flashing wrong firmware still allow drive to eject. It would just not read disc?(like...
