Thank you @Radiocomms237 fixed my issue.
FYI if you are a Mac user you can find this in the MakeMKV app bundle. `/Applications/MakeMKV.app/Contents/Resources` has the .tar and then is also where you save your custom profile.

If I don’t currently need to rip UHD am I fine with a drive off the shelf? Thinking the BP60NB10. If I ever get a 4k I’ll try and flash it myself.
