I agree, it would be nice if future MakeMKV versions would handle this more gracefully, or at least be able to detect the issue and warn about it.

I had the same problem (discs 3 and 10). I even sent the DVD collection back for an exchange, and the new one had the same issues. The solution is very simple. By default MakeMKV checks all the subtitle files. For discs 3 and 10, just uncheck the last subtitle file (the one that says lossy) before r...
