For playing TrueHD with Atmos you need an Atmos decoder, be it onboard a tv, soundbar or surround processor/AVR. If Atmos isn't supported, you need at least a TrueHD encoder for the 2D flatbed part. My samsung QLED can't process dolby TrueHD w/ATMOS - and when I plug my computer in and play it via VLC player it still doen't play ATMOS..

My panasonic UB420 Blu-Ray player can't play the ATMOS tracks either.

Verbatim 43888 is 4K UHD compatible - IIRC the 43889 is not.
