Hi kapqa, it is a normal Blu-Ray in 1080p. I also have this edition and was able to read the disc. So it's not a problem with makemkv, it will be the disc itself or the drive. Your procedure is correct.
In addition, you need to have a player that can play back DV (like Zidoo Z9X, Dune HD Real Vision 4K, Zappiti and so on ... all DV Player seem to have the Realtek 1619 chipset ) AND your TV or projector must also be able to output DV.

@audiom3 You are right, of course. The recommendations always come from the personal experiences of the users. For example, I have more than 600 discs and had bought a BH16NS40 and then crossflashed it to a WH16NS60. I was able to read about 585 discs without any problems. The other discs could not ...
