Re: Green line and jumping in Blu-Ray rips

This seems to be a non-issue. When I first ripped the movies, I watched some of them on my PC, using VLC. This is where I observed the green line and video jumping around. I copied them out to my NAS and watched on my Kodi device. The picture looked great. Not sure why the video sucked on my local m...

Green line and jumping in Blu-Ray rips

I just built myself a new Win 11 machine and added in a Blu-Ray drive. I have the entire of "Planet of the Apes" legacy on BR and wanted to rip them. So far I've ripped the first three movies and all three have a green line and the video jumps all over the place. I did a couple of other mo...

Title #1 (1:42:18) was skipped due to navigation error

I have two DVD's, "Cars 3" and "Wonderland" that when MakeMKV doesn't show the primary movie to be ripped. Reading the logs for Cars I see: Title #1 (1:42:18) was skipped due to navigation error Does that mean its scratched or something? Or its it the format of the DVD? Is there ...

What happens if you set preferences to "CellFull" and minimum title length to 0 seconds?
Thank you for the suggestion, however, that did not work. The first six cells were still removed from the start.

Re: Beginning of Avatar Way of Water chopped off

Debug didn't provide any additional information.
Anyone know why MakeMKV would remove the first six cells?

Thanks

Re: Beginning of Avatar Way of Water chopped off

I just tried another rip. I see the following in the log:
Cells 1-6 were removed from title start
I'll re-run with debugging enabled.

Thanks

Beginning of Avatar Way of Water chopped off

I'm trying to rip "Avatar: The Way of Water". However, the first several minutes get chopped off. Any thoughts why?

Thanks

Re: Splitting apart episodes

I tried MKVToolNix, but it seems even more completed.

Thanks for the input.

Splitting apart episodes

I really hate ripping TV show's, because sometimes the episodes are one big file and not split on the disk. MakeMKV just rips what it finds. If all of the episodes are in one big file, then MakeMKV rips one big file and I have to use something else to split up the episodes. I've been using Handbrake...

Re: DVD's with multiple main movie titles

What are the run times? When you play the disc, what options does the native menu offer? Could be: Runtime 2 hr 10 min (130 min) 2 hr 12 min (132 min) (Extended Edition) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1596343/technical?ref_=tt_spec_sm I didn't even try playing the movie to find out if there was any d...

DVD's with multiple main movie titles

Every so often I come across a DVD that has more than one primary main movie title. Sometimes it might say "Angle 1", "Angle 2", or something similar. Once I was looking at the remarks said something like "Queues for visually impaired". But I have a DVD that I just load...

Expand All option

I have a Wish List type item, I'd like to see "Expand all" and "Collapse All" in the right click menu, especially when it comes to ripping TV shows and I need to expand all of the episodes so I can unselect items that I don't want included in the rip. It would just make life a li...

The MKVToolNix tools can append one .mkv file to another.

Probably ffmpeg could do it as well.
Thank you. I'll look into this.

Merge MKV files?

Is there a way to merge mkv files? I have a couple of movies that are 2 disk sets, I'd like to merge them into a single mkv. Is that possible? If so, how?

Thanks
