If you are tone mapping with madVR you should uncheck “passthrough hdr” or “send hdr signal”. You want to send only sdr with dci p3 or bt2020 color space since madVR is handling the hdr If madVR sends an hdr flag your tv will then handle it instead and there won’t be proper tone mapping.
