Unable to convert DEADWOOD Season 2 disks One and Two from Netflix. Did convert other disks in the series using an older version. Using 1.83 / windows 7 on three different computers

1.6.10 The wire
I have been recording "The Wire" tv series. The version 1.6.10 failed on two different disks in two different hosts.
Previous version 1.6.9 always worked fine for these.

We were unable to make mkv files from a DVD of the miniseries Nuremberg. First disk we have been unable to process.

SLOW Slow Slow. I wondered what was wrong with my computer... Then realized the software was different. Experienceing about a 75% REDUCTION in speed. Setup: Windows XP PRO SP3 32 bit Intel I7 in a Gigabyte MLB 4GB RAM Internal 20x DVD-RW Liteon Speeds before ranged from 4-8X Now seeing 1-1.8 Looking...
