Not sure if the updated KEYDB or makemkv's native key download was the method that worked, but it's working now!

Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and then restarting MakeMKV? If this doesn't work, could you upload both your TGZ dump file and its actual MKB_RO.inf file into (say) OneDrive of Google...

since the file size for the .tgz was only 108 kb

I'm still unable to rip the 4k disc.

Using MakeMKV version 1.17.7 on Windows 10, 64-bit. No internet connection issues.
