Unfortunately the MKV backup function always failed for this blu-ray disk. Tried cleaning the disk a lot times, did not help. Is it possible that the bad sector on the disk is used as a way to block copying the movie to hard drive? The only way to get out seems to be buying a new copy of the same mo...

Sorry for late reply. I just copied the files from 4K blu-ray disk to my laptop's HDD.

@Woodstock Thanks very much for help! I tried one more thing, used the backup function in MakeMKV to export files onto my PC hard drive without checking the box of "Decrypt video files" then cancel it when it was exporting m2ts files. Then I copied the previously saved m2ts files into D:\b...

No, stick with the 1.00 firmware. We generally don't use our drives for direct playback, so hard to comment on your issue. You could try cleaning the discs and see i f that helps, but in general, don't playback the discs, play the MKV file you create. Thanks very much for help!! Marty I will flash ...
