Another thing to note. If I use the command line instead of the GUI, it scans the DVD and rips it just fine.
makemkvcon64 mkv disc:1 all c:\mkvtest\

I have seen this reported elsewhere (its been happening to me for several versions), but no responses from the reporters after Mike asks for a dump. Basically, I will put a DVD in either of my drives. MakeMKV will scan it, pull all the title info, and say operation successful, and then will throw up...

Update to my earlier post. Tested out 1.6.5 today, same issue as 1.6.4, super slow. I completely uninstalled every other application that has anything to do with codecs / videos, issue still exists. Got 1.6.3 to re-install and extend itself out another 30 days, so I guess I am good for tonight. My n...
