Has anyone had issues with doing either a Backup of the Midway (2019 version) DVD or extracting the movie? I was able to extract the featurettes. However, when trying to backup the entire disk, I get Backup Failed. When I try to extract the movie as an MKV I get the following errors: Saving 1 titles...

Now I just wonder about what to use instead of MKVToolsNix as they won't be migrating to Apple Silicon.

I am noticing that while my computer states that I have 1.4TB available on my SSD, MakeMKV is reporting that I only have 714.1G. What is going on?

Just wondering if MakeMKV is going to be impacted when Apple deprecates and basically removes Rosetta 2 in the next MacOS in September. Is the MacOS version a universal binary or written for the Apple Silicon?

Under Files and Folders - I see two different items

makemkv - which has a toggle for Removable Volumes (turned on)

and

MakeMKV.app which just lists Full Disk Access.

However, each time I go to backup a disk, it asks for access to the removable device.

I am on MacOS 26.3

Unfortunately, it does not seem to have made any difference under my (first) attempt... is there a recommended cleaner to use?
