It seems to work if I start the DVD content using VLC, then pausing it before starting MakeMKV. I guess this gets around the decryption somehow.

I managed to copy the DVD content to my SSD using "vobcopy -m" and now I'm running MakeMKV to convert it all into MKV.
However, it's taking a loooong time, with no visible progress.
"CSS sectors scanned" stopped at 1674671, that didn't take long reading from the SSD. Since then, it's been trying ...

I'm on MakeMKV 1.17.1, on macOS, with an external DVD-RW drive which I've successfully used with MakeMKV before.
