Thank you. Damn, all of the links seem to be dead, are there any other live links that you know of, specifically for Arctic Zephyr?RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 2:14 amyou need one of the custom skins

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Reset, how do you get the below player process information? https://i.postimg.cc/KYdJLHdS/Screenshot-2026-01-15-00-09-25-24-e4424258c8b8649f6e67d283a50a2cbc.jpg I followed your CE guide and keymap tutorial but all I get is the basic Kodi PPI? Without the DV type real time luminance data... I am on h...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I finally got a Ugoos AM6B+ (yes, for christmas)!
For clarity sake, is CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-21.3-Omega-Generic.img.gz still the version to get or is there a newer version available?
I'm asking because the CoreElec website mentions a update, v22.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
When comparing P5 and HDR10 across Disney+, Amazon, Netflix, or MAX, they will always look identical, even when viewed in 16-bit RGB. Thanks, I think this clears it up for me. In other words, P5 and HDR10 comparisons need to be done on TVs in order to see the the difference in colours, correct? exa...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
with libplacebo, nothing new... workflow 7-2 in dovi_scripts Interesting. Assuming HDR10 is HDR and Profile 5 DV is "expanded HDR" (effectively 12-bit colours because of how the master-to-P5 conversion works), are these tonemapped screenshots an acccurate representation of P5? Am I correc...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Is it possible to compare tonemapped P5 screenshots with P8? Reason I ask is because as of lately I'm seeing more and more "RGB 16-bit" screenshots floating around. Are these accurate representation of what P5 has to offer? I thought it was only possible to compare the two by taking pictur...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
According to my calculations: HDR10 ( 10-bit ): Approximately 1.07 billion colors, Profile 5 Dolby Vision / IPTPQc2 (equivalent to 11.5-bit ): Approximately 22.4 billion colors, Profile 7 Dolby Vision ( FEL , 12-bit ): Approximately 68.7 billion colors. Is this correct? I can't find a definite sourc...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Are you all mainly looking for the ease of access to the titles? Using these planned obsolescence devices is not a wise decision, but I understand if the concern is mainly the ease of access to the titles, not the device or file properties. If you're talking about the Kscape I think the idea is to ...

Well first night with the Kscape was not very good... Tried two streams: The Accountant and Last of Us S02. Accountant: horrible Raised black in both HDR10/DV DV to HDR10 conversion is incorrect 1080p SDR stream different master/framing and actually better than 4K! https://slow.pics/c/YShhgXTe Last...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
## Summary The “Color range : Limited” flag in MediaInfo indicates the video’s coded value range is constrained to legal (TV) swing rather than full (PC) swing. For 10-bit video, limited range means luma (Y') code values span 64–940 and chroma (Cb/Cr) span 64–960. This applies equally to HDR10 and ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
yes, Profile 5 is supposed to be full range but Apple being Apple as always, all their stuff is in limited range. I don't think it matters though Thank you. Interesting. Why do you think it doesn't make a difference? Someone asked AI: When opening a 4K HDR MKV file with MediInfo it has bunch of fla...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I have a question for you RESET. The other day, someone said that every P5 DV file is supposed to have the following tag in MediaInfo: Color Range : Full Instead of: Color Range : Limited Is this true? I've looked into it a little and I've noticed said tag is all over the place, pretty much every st...

When did MakeMKV start recognizig HDR10?
I have two files: Format profile : Main 10@L5.1@High and Format profile : Main 10@L5.1@High HDR format : SMPTE ST 2086, HDR10 compatible Is there any difference between the two, besides the HDR format line noting it's HDR10? I'm assuming they're the same and the former is just missing metadata telli...
