Best option in my opinion is still to just insert each disk, run VLC under the auspices of strace and track which mpls/m2ts is opened when selecting an episode on the disc menus -- yes this needs to be done in Linux in this example. I have had this happen to me as well and I'm on MacOS. Not sure whether it's a bug in MMKV but it does concern me. I now use different drives for R1 and R2 DVDs.

Same here too. I am on Sonoma 14.2.1. I keep giving permission when prompted but the VLC integration box will always be unticked again when I go back into the MakeMKV settings and I just cannot get it to work.
