Ah, that's unfortunate.
I think I might have more questions but as this is a very old thread I will probably just start a new one.
Thanks.

Re: SDF.bin
Thanks Billy for the info. I perused your thread and not sure I have a good handle on why making this change might be necessary. Preferably I would find out what the security issue is that's preventing the SDF from downloading... I use a pi-hole for DNS resolution on my internal network and also an ...

Re: SDF.bin
Hey guys, sorry to resurrect this thread. I'm having a similar problem with the automatic SDF download failing. I've downloaded the sdf.bin into the data directory for the application (I am on MacOS Monterey) but still see this error this error when I open the application. Am I missing a step? Thanks.

Need help with default selection rule.
I'm trying to create a default selection rule so that when I select a title on a disc, only the title I click on is selected, instead ALL of them get selected. Additionally, whatever I did resulted in now all language and sub tracks are getting selected... I only want english subtitle and audio trac...

Re: Error trying to convert Bluy Ray
Possibly but it says it expires on the 17th of September so that should be an issue. As for a permanent key, I haven't got the 70 right now, too many other expenses in life. Beta keys will continue to expire periodically, which is typical for beta software. If this is inconvenient to you then consi...

Re: Homeland Season 2
Yes, the size of emails can be an issue... There are alternative methods for getting the file to Mike, though. If you don't have your own server to host it (it's a nice luxury), there are services like Dropbox and similar where you can upload the file, then send the link to Mike at svq@makemkv.com ...

Re: Homeland Season 2
Any DVD is usually very fast to update and tends to be my backup method if MakeMKV can't handle a disc. I do love MakeMKV enough to have registered it though (sure beats the piss out of Clown-BD).

Re: Homeland Season 2
I decrypted the disk to an ISO with AnyDVD-HD and then ripped it with MakeMKV and it's working fine, so definitely an encryption issue with whatever security is being used.
If I get a chance in a bit I will go ahead and dump the needed data and report it as a disc problem.

Re: Homeland Season 2
Same problem here. The disk rips but there are lots of artifacts on playback. Playback of original disc in a BD player does not exhibit the artifact problem. I expect that this is some new protection scheme, hopefully can be worked around. As a test I'm going to re-rip on my Windows virtual machine ...

Fixed with new SVQ file, thanks guys! Makes me glad to have registered MakeMKV some time ago, the ongoing support is great!

Re: Laura -1944 new release BD failed to process BD+ code
Not cracked yet. Do they normally provide a response to acknowledge that they received an SVQ error dump via email?
